RIYADH: The Netherlands has unveiled the single largest national pavilion at the 2023 Saudi Agriculture exhibition.
Exhibitors at the event, which runs from Oct. 23 to 26 in Riyadh, include 30 companies from various agricultural sectors, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.
Dutch companies are showcasing their expertise in areas such as greenhouse agriculture, smart farming, agricultural robots, poultry and livestock farming solutions, agricultural product processing and packaging, aquaculture, irrigation systems, pesticides, fertilizers, dairy farms, and agricultural incubators and nurseries.
The country’s pavilion reflects its strong agricultural ties with the Kingdom, organizers said, and offers an opportunity to exchange technological expertise, while exploring investment and employment opportunities in both countries.
The event also aims to contribute to the Kingdom’s goals of increasing its agricultural output, raising export rates and improving the balance of trade with the Netherlands.
