The criminal court in Riyadh has sentenced a Pakistani national to two and a half years for allegedly contacting Al-Nusra Front, a terrorist group, and intending to visit Afghanistan to participate in fighting there.
According to a report carried by SPA, the man was also accused of handing over money to four Saudi militants to travel to Afghanistan for jihad, and meeting individuals having deviant thoughts.
The man had also received e-mail messages from an Al-Qaeda member in order to find a confidant for collecting donations to support the terror group, the court said in a statement.
