Riyadh Chamber unveils new mission

RIYADH: The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) on Wednesday unveiled its new identity.
The new identity reflects the new mission, vision and value of RCCI adapted to match the ambitious plans being developed for comprehensive transformation and economical diversification under the direct leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman.
The launch was attended by Commerce and Industry Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, RCCI and Council of Saudi Chambers Chairman Abdul Rahman Al-Zamil and RCCI Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Kathiri, along with prominent businessmen, businesswomen and journalists.
As part of the event, a number of major business initiatives formulated by RCCI were announced. Al-Kathiri said that all these initiatives would be realized in the coming five years.
The initiatives included transforming Riyadh into a regional business center by 2020, forming a strategy to position Riyadh as the main hub for local, regional, and international exhibitions and conferences by 2019, and promoting partnerships between different business sectors in the area to achieve more development, and applying advanced technologies to achieve sustainable economic development.
