JEDDAH: Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha recently met Consul General of the US in Jeddah Ali Lejlic.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations between the organization and the US and discussed ways to strengthen them, Saudi Press Agency reported.
The officials also addressed issues of mutual concern, including the situation in Gaza and efforts to combat Islamophobia.
Meanwhile, Saudi Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Rassi recently met Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah in Riyadh, and they discussed topics of mutual interest, the Foreign Ministry wrote on X.
