Saudi aid agency KSrelief is intensifying its efforts to deliver critical aid to Lebanon and has supported those in need of medical assistance in Afghanistan and Morocco.
The 18th aid plane sent from Riyadh to Lebanon arrived at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport on Sunday, carrying food, shelter and medical supplies.
The aid will be used to assist the growing number of people displaced by Israeli airstrikes.
Countries such as the UAE, Turkiye, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Canada, Romania and France are also sending aid to Lebanon.
In Afghanistan, KSrelief concluded the Saudi Noor Volunteer Project to combat blindness in Kabul, in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation. In one week, the medical team examined performed 442 surgeries.
In Morocco, KSrelief concluded a week-long project in Boulemane, examining
5,120 people and conducting 482 eye surgeries.
