RIYADH: The four semi-finalists are preparing to face each other as they bid to progress to the final round of the World Masters of Snooker Championship.

It is the first time a professional tournament has been held in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and it features a unique concept called the Riyadh Season golden ball. This is worth 20 points and can be potted by players who make the sought-after maximum 147-point break.

In Wednesday’s semi-finals, Mark Allen of Northern Ireland — ranked third in the world — will face Luca Brecel of Belgium, who is ranked fourth.

Judd Trump, who holds the number two ranking, will play world number one Ronnie O’Sullivan in all-British fixture.

Wednesday is the last day of the championship and features three rounds, starting with the semi-finals and concluding with the final that will determine the overall champion.
