LONDON: Several parts of Israel were experiencing widespread blackouts on Sunday affecting around 120,000 individuals, The Times of Israel reported.
The power outages, which have hit the areas of Safed, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, and Beersheba, were alleged to have been the result of a technical issue, according to the army.
Israel’s Electric Corp. denied that the blackouts were caused by a cyberattack or the ongoing war with Hamas in Gaza.
