Saudi ministers discuss economic development with World Bank boss in Davos

DAVOS: The Saudi finance minister, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, and the minister of economy and planning, Faisal Alibrahim, held talks on Friday with the president of the World Bank, Ajay Banga, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2024 in the Swiss city of Davos.

They discussed the role the Kingdom plays in inclusive economic development through its cooperation with multilateral development banks.

Alibrahim also met his counterpart from Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, to explore new avenues of cooperation in energy and mining, among other industries. And he talked to the Dutch minister of social affairs and employment, Karien van Gennip, about economic cooperation between their countries.
