Nada Al-Tuwaijri is co-founder, CEO, and board member of Merwas, a digital multimedia technology, content creation, and production company based in Riyadh.
Under her leadership, Merwas offers artists access to leading industry expertise, and world-class services and facilities, while driving innovation, collaboration and production of multimedia content.
Al-Tuwaijri has made a significant impact in both the private and public sectors.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional skills in multiple leadership positions in PR, communication, media, and digital engagement.Â
As a senior account manager at communications firm Edelman, she developed and implemented strategic plans to manage and increase accounts.
Al-Tuwaijri also served as head of strategic partnerships and development at the Center of International Communication set up by the Ministry of Media, and as a public relations media and communications manager at the Misk Foundation.Â
She began her career as a journalist at the Arab and global news media company Al Arabiya.
Al-Tuwaijri interned at JP Morgan in the UK, where she monitored and assessed the stock market.
She also founded the Men Ajlehem campaign, which provided daily supplies to around 20 percent of the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.
Al-Tuwaijri was the first Saudi woman to access and report from the camp.
The campaign was chosen as one of the seven leading NGOs in ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ.
She also developed a Safe Cities project in Cairo as part of a campaign against sexual harassment in the city.
Al-Tuwaijri holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Kingston University, London, and a master’s degree in peace studies and conflict resolution from the University of Westminster.
