RIYADH: A delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) praised the efforts of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in improving the healthcare sector, state news agency SPA reported.
This came during the WHO’s delegation visit to the commission’s headquarters in Riyadh.
WHO experts said the Saudi authority’s successful experience contributes to the healthcare sector “at the local and international levels.”
They were briefed on the authority’s role in Ƶ’s ‘Health Sector Transformation Program’ and the services it provides to medical practitioners across the Kingdom.
The visit also highlighted the authority’s experience in postgraduate and training programs aimed at nurturing the next generation of healthcare practitioners.
