RIYADH: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The officials reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields in a way that achieves the aspirations of their countries. They also discussed regional and international developments, and efforts made with regard to them.

Al-Khuraiji is on an official visit to Pakistan and also met with the country’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, “both sides discussed bilateral relations with a view to strengthening Saudi investments in Pakistan especially in energy, agriculture, IT, and the mining sectors,” the country’s foreign ministry said.
