RIYADH: The sixth Saudi relief flight carrying aid supplies to Sudan took off from King Khalid International Airport on Saturday loaded with 30 tons of food, shelter and medical supplies.
The latest batch is part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts to help civilians affected by the ongoing conflict between rival military factions in Sudan.
The delivery of needed supplies is being done by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief), in line with directives from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
A team from the center earlier met with Adam Bakhit, the Sudanese minister of social development, to facilitate logistical procedures for a speedier delivery of Saudi aid to the Sudanese people.
