RIYADH: Senior officials and delegates attended a meeting on Tuesday to prepare for the upcoming Arab League summit that will be hosted in Jeddah on May 19.
Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for multilateral affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Rasi chaired the meeting and thanked Algeria for its efforts during 2022 when it held the Arab League presidency.
Al-Rasi also welcomed the Syrian delegation’s participation in the meeting.
In a speech, the official said that the Kingdom continues its tangible efforts to achieve stability, prosperity, growth, and peace in the region and the world.
Al-Rasi also expressed the Kingdom’s desire that all Arab countries join forces to achieve the goals of the upcoming summit to support joint Arab action and advance development in the Arab world.
