RIYADH: Preparations are in full swing to launch the first edition of the 10-day Camel Avenue festival in Tabuk, following an agreement between the region and the Camel Club.

Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, governor of the Tabuk region, confirmed that both parties’ capabilities would be harnessed to ensure the success of the festival and further its legacy as a market with the potential to attract opportunities.

Fahd bin Falah bin Hathleen, chairman of the board of directors of the Camel Club, praised Tabuk’s efforts to prepare for the festival and welcome guests and camel owners in the region.

The festival aims to stimulate the economy, develop the sector and raise the value of camels.
