TOKYO: King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania will make an official visit to Japan from April 7 to 12.
During their stay in Japan, Jordan鈥檚 King and Queen will meet Japan鈥檚 Emperor Naruhito and Empress Michiko.
Prime Minister Kishida Fumio will hold a meeting with King Abdullah and host a working dinner.
A government statement issued by the foreign ministry in Tokyo said: 鈥淛apan sincerely welcomes the visit of Their Majesties the King and the Queen and hopes the visit will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.鈥�
This will be King Abdullah II鈥檚 12th visit to Japan as King of Jordan.
