Tourist Ibrahim Al-Mansour praised the cultural, social and physical benefits of hiking, saying it boosts mental health, improves relationships with others, and builds immunity against illness.
Fellow hiker Mohsen Namis said that he was planning to explore routes in the Kingdom to build friendships with other hiking teams and learn about the country’s geography.
Hiking’s popularity has been growing in the Kingdom among various age groups looking to enjoy the country’s natural attractions, mountains and diverse landscapes.
