RIYADH: ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received the Secretary-General of the Bureau International des Expositions Dimitri Kerkentzes in Riyadh on Monday.
During the meeting, Prince Mohammed and Kerkentzes discussed the Kingdom’s bid to host World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.
¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s proposed theme for the expo should the Kingdom’s bid prove successful is “The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow.â€
During the 171st General Assembly of the BIE which took place in Paris on Nov. 28-29, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir said the plan for the expo is “to leave a powerful legacy and a clear demonstration that a brighter, sustainable future is achievable by all nations, and by all people.â€
