ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Relief Center in Pakistan has provided medicines and medical equipment to the Diabetes Association of Pakistan in Karachi, the aid agency said in a statement on Monday.
KSrelief has provided humanitarian and development aid to more than 80 countries spread over four continents.

Pakistan is the fifth-largest recipient of its assistance and has received over $120 million in aid since 2005.
"King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Pakistan provided medicines and medical equipment to Diabetes Association of Pakistan Karachi so that the poor and underprivileged diabetic patients can get free and timely treatment and lead a healthy lifestyle," the agency said in its statement.

The package includes devices to examine blood samples, 7,890 different types of insulin pens and 1,620 units of different diabetics medicines.
"The center also equipped a diabetic foot examination clinic with two examination beds, a sterilization device for surgical instruments, a doppler device for examining blood vessels, and another for examining nerves, in addition to delivering 318 different surgical tools for examination and treatment of the diabetic foot," the KSrelief statement said, adding that about 4,160 people would benefit from the assistance.
