RIYADH: Jordan supports all steps taken by ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ to protect its security, stability, and interests, the country’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sinan Al-Majali said that the OPEC+ decision to cut oil production by two million barrels per day in November was a technical matter related to stabilizing oil markets, regulating the supply and demand process, and protecting the interests of producers and consumers.
Al-Majali stressed the need to address the US reaction to the decision through direct and balanced dialogue between ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ and US within the spirit of partnership that unites the two countries, and in a manner that reflects the importance of this partnership in establishing security and stability in the region.
Meanwhile, Iraq’s foreign ministry said it refuses any threatening or pressuring policy and supports OPEC+ and ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ.
The ministry called for “resolving any disagreement related to this case through the natural means and in the context of a direct and balanced dialog.â€
