Saudi FM meets South Sudan counterpart in Juba

JUBA: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday met his South Sudanese counterpart Mayiik Ayii Deng.

During their meeting at the headquarters of South Sudan’s Foreign Ministry in Juba, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in all fields. They also discussed the most prominent issues of common interest.

Prince Faisal expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation for South Sudan’s support of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s candidacy to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

The meeting was attended by the Saudi assistant minister of state for African affairs, Dr. Sami Al-Saleh; the non-resident Saudi ambassador to South Sudan, Ali Jaafar; and the director general of the office of the Saudi minister of foreign affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud.
