RIYADH: The Simulation and Skills Development Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has trained approximately 50,000 beneficiaries through accredited courses since its launch, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Represented by the Life Support Training Department, the center’s basic and advanced courses aim to improve the quality of healthcare practices worldwide as well as keep up with the rapid developments in simulation-based healthcare education.
The center, which is one of the largest simulation centers in the world, uses simulation technology to improve trainee interactivity through practical application and critical thinking, contributing to the development of competence and the reduction of medical errors.
The courses provided are in accordance with the requirements of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, accreditation standards, and community service requirements.
The center offers a package that includes courses, many in both Arabic and English, on life support, CPR and first aid, hazard and disaster response, sports injury prevention and electrocardiogram principles.
