RIYADH: European natural gas prices drop to their lowest levels since March 1 amid stable Russian supply as well as warmer weather forecasts, Bloomberg reported.
Benchmark Dutch futures plunged around 7.8 percent to reach 96.85 euros ($107.3) per megawatt hour.
This comes as flows from Russia via Ukraine remain steady despite the war.
Indeed, orders of Russian gas to Europe via the Nord Stream link edged slightly higher while remaining lower than the level at the beginning of the previous week.
In addition to steady Russia flow, warmer weather forecasts for the rest of the month are anticipated to temper wind power output across the continent.
