Najlaa Aboumerhi is a presenter, news and political programs journalist for Al-Araby TV. With over 18 years of experience in TV, online and radio journalism, Aboumerhi has covered the Battle of Nahr Al-Bared and the July War, the Afghan elections, and the US elections.

A mentor in The Marie Colvin Journalists’ Network, Aboumerhi was deployed to Ukraine at the start of the Russian invasion in late February to report on developments.

Aboumerhi holds a BA in print journalism from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Lebanese University, and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from King’s College London.
