AlUla to host 116th session of Arab League’s ALECSO

ALULA: AlUla governorate is hosting a session of the Arab League’s Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization between Jan. 25 and 27.
The meetings of the organization’s 116th ordinary session will be held with the participation of 21 Arab countries, where issues that serve the organization’s goals will be discussed, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Issues related to the future of the organization and its strategic plans in the near future will also be discussed.
It will be the second time that the Kingdom is hosting the event, which was previously hosted in Taif in 1979.
¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ aims to work with the organization to help develop its goals and joint action among Arab countries, which reflects the country’s keenness and leading role in improving the fields of education, culture and science, especially as it continues to be among the top contributors in bridging cultural gaps among Arab people. These efforts will also help in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in various fields.
