Israeli intellectual, historian, professor and author Yuval Noah Harari made his first appearance in the Arab media during an interview with Sulayman Al-Hatlan on Sky News Arabia.
During the two-part interview, Harari spoke about the state of the world after the COVID-19 pandemic, and how decisions made during this time will “shape the world for the foreseeable future.” Harari warned that “humanity had succeeded medically, but failed politically,” given the lack of a unified global front.
Referencing his book “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind,” Harari talked about the history of humanity and the challenges facing us in the near future.
His appearance in the Arab media reflected the spirit of the Abraham Accords and demonstrated that peace can be used to exchange ideas and cooperate in science and development.
