Mina Al-Oraibi is the Editor-in-chief of The National, an English-language daily newspaper based in Abu Dhabi. 
She joined The National in 2015, after having spent time at Yale University where she was a Yale World Fellow, and previous experiences in Asharq Al Awsat and Al Hayat. 
Al-Oraibi writes extensively on US and European policies in the Middle East, covers diplomatic affairs of the region, and brings insight on Iraqi developments and interactions with the broader region. 
Named a Young Global Leader in 2009 by the World Economic Forum, Al-Oraibi has conducted interviews with numerous high-profile individuals, namely former US President Barack Obama, former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Iraqi President Barham Salih, former UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki.
Al-Oraibi is a regular guest on TV and radio news programs, including the BBC’s “Dateline London,” the BBC World Service’s “Weekend Program,” CNBC’s “Capital Connections” hosted by Hadley Gamble, and CNN’s “Connect the World” hosted by Fareed Zakaria.
