In 2021, Apple announced that it would establish an Apple Developer Academy in Riyadh, the first one in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Academy will be dedicated to providing tools and training for aspiring female programmers, developers and designers so that they can establish startups and create jobs in iOS app development.
The move will also bolster women’s empowerment and other social reforms under ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Vision 2030 project.
