Podcast: Sarde After Dinner

Journalist Médéa Azouri and media professional Mouin Jaber are the hosts of the beloved podcast, “Sarde After Dinner,” a Lebanese, mainly Arabic-language podcast based in the heart of Beirut, Lebanon.
The podcast hosts a wide range of prominent guests and discusses numerous topics related to the region including but not limited to politics, the Lebanese economy and the judiciary system.
Azouri is a journalist and writer for the Lebanese French-language daily L’Orient-Le Jour and a member of the political office for Minteshreen, a youth-led progressive movement born after the Oct. 17 movement in Lebanon.
Jaber, who is also an activist and former communications director at Minteshreen, is the son of journalist, TV personality and Group TV Director of MBC Ali Jaber.
Recorded in the dining room of Azouri’s apartment in Beirut, the weekly podcast hosts a wide variety of notable local and international figures, including blogger-activist Gino Riady, renowned economist Karim Daher, Emirati talk-show host Anas Bukhash, Egyptian satirist Bassem Youssef, film director and actress Nadine Labaki, and feminist activist Sarah Kaddoura.
