ADEN: The prosthetic limbs and physical rehabilitation center in Aden governorate has continued to provide medical services for Yemenis with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

The center provided services for 446 beneficiaries in one month, including the manufacturing, fitting and maintenance of prosthetic limbs for 228 patients, covering their delivery, measurement and maintenance.

The center also provided other treatments for 397 patients, including physical therapy and consultations.

This project is part of the Kingdom’s efforts, represented by KSrelief, to improve the capacities of the health sector in Yemen.

Meanwhile, the mobile medical nutritional clinics of KSrelief provided treatment services for 4,275 patients in the Hodeidah governorate. The laboratory department also received 3,107 individuals while 2,742 were provided with medications.

KSrelief has implemented 629 projects in Yemen at a total cost of more than $3.9 billion. Yemen is among the top beneficiaries of KSrelief’s assistance.

The center’s programs include food security, water sanitation and hygiene, health, education, emergency aid and nutrition.

Since its inception in 2015, KSrelief has implemented 1,784 projects in 76 countries at a total cost of more than $5.5 billion.
