¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ has finished second at the Futsal Week Summer Cup 2021 after losing the final against Italy in Porec, Croatia.
The team from the Kingdom performed well across the tournament, but fell to heavy 6-0 defeat against the team ranked ninth in the world.
Moaz Al-Asiri of the Saudi national team also won the award for the tournament’s best player.
Earlier in the competition, ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ defeated Malta 6-0 and San Marino 7-0 before losing 2-1 to Montenegro. The results were enough to see the team progress to Sunday’s final.
The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵn Football Federation and the team’s Spanish coach Andrew Plaza have organized a training camp in the Porec until Sept. 15.
