RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) health campaign to combat blindness and other eye disease continues in Kano in Nigeria.
The campaign began on July 7 and will continue until July 14. As of July 11, KSrelief’s medical teams examined 421 patients and performed 255 eye surgeries.
The campaign is targeting low-income people.
KSrelief continues to support the Emergency Center for Epidemic Control in the Hajjah governorate of Yemen. During June 24-30, the center provided health services to 1,910 people.
KSrelief has implemented 1,556 projects worth more than $5 billion in 59 countries since its inception in May 2015.
