MARIB: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded a $535,000 project to support, protect, and care for orphans and their families in Yemen.
The Seed of Safety program provided housing, food, and health services to 600 orphans and 100 families in the country’s Aden, Marib, West Coast, Al-Jouf, Al-Bayda, and Sanaa regions and included a health and environment awareness campaign aimed at preventing the spread of disease.
In addition, the project provided education for the orphans, help with integrating them back into society, social care for their families, and training and rehabilitation for women responsible for looking after them.Â
