HAJJAH: The Emergency Center for Epidemic Control has continued to provide treatment services to patients in the Hajjah governorate, Yemen, with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
In one week, the center provided medical services to 1,910 patients. The registration and screening department received 904 patients, while the observation department received 62 patients. The epidemiological unit received 904 patients.
The health awareness department also saw 267 individuals, while the patient’s referral department served 11 patients.
Meanwhile, KSrelief distributed 4,830 food baskets aid to needy families in North Kordofan and White Nile States in Sudan. Nearly 29,000 people benefited from the aid.
The center has also implemented a voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness in Kano, Nigeria.
In one week, KSrelief’s medical team examined 3,129 eye patients, performed 400 eye surgeries, dispensed 2,665 prescriptions and provided 1,075 glasses, benefitting those who cannot afford treatment. This comes as a part of the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts, providing — in cooperation with the Al-Basar International Foundation — the necessary medical care for individuals who suffer from eye diseases in a number of countries.
