NEW YORK: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Friday, on the sidelines of the emergency meeting to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, at the UN headquarters in New York.
During the meeting, cooperation between the Kingdom and the UN was reviewed, in addition to discussing occupied Palestine and efforts to enhance international peace and security.
The meeting was attended by Abdallah Al-Mouallami, the permanent representative of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ to the UN, and Abdulrahman bin Arkan Al-Dawood, the director general of the office of the minister of foreign affairs.
Prince Faisal also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno Marsudi on the sidelines of the UN meeting.
They discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest developments in Palestine.
The two sides also reviewed strengthening coordination and cooperation on regional and international issues of common interest.
