Humaid Alenazi is working on publishing his first book “Economic Media” in the first quarter of 2021. It analyzes the obstacles and reality of today’s media among other topics. He is also writing a book about the media coverage of businessmen.

Alenazi has been the director of the media and marketing department at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce since 2007 and editor in chief of Riyadh Trade Magazine since 2009.

He was CEO of the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center until March 2020.

His journalism career started in 1997 while he was a student. He worked for a local daily newspaper, Al Masaiyah, and then joined Al Jazirah as assistant manager. He also supervised a number of daily and weekly pages until 2003.

Alenazi believes that today’s media, together with its transnational digital tools, is a double-edged sword that requires people to treat it professionally and is based on standards that are completely different from the standards of traditional media.

He has taken training and professional courses, and has also taken part in media activities inside and outside the Kingdom. He has been an established columnist since 2010 and writes about the economy.

He is a member of the Society of Saudi Writers and the Saudi Journalists Association.

Alenazi has a bachelor’s degree in media and public relations from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, and holds a digital marketing diploma.
