DUBAI: Oman’s Royal Navy has shipped aid to Sudan following a massive flood caused by heavy rains, state news agency ONA reported.
The relief aid was organized in coordination with Oman Charitable Organisation.
Sudanese authorities declared a natural disaster area in the country and imposed a three-month state of emergency after rising floodwaters and heavy rainfall killed around 100 people and inundated over 100,000 houses since late July.
