RIYADH: Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar on Monday inaugurated the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s (SRCA) electronic paramedic system.
The system aims to reduce the response time to emergency calls. Under the new system, 91 health facilities in the Riyadh region will be linked to the program to receive emergency cases. The system will also effectively manage ambulatory medical services. It allows choosing the most appropriate health facility based on an individual case. There are 112 SRCA emergency centers in the Riyadh region.
The governor appreciated the authority for introducing new technologies to serve people in a better way.
These measures are part of the National Transformation Program 2020.
