DUBAI: Oman has lifted its lockdown as the country gradually eases its coronavirus restrictions.
Dhofar province however has been excluded from the decision and will remain under lockdown until further notice, Oman’s state news agency ONA reported, citing the country’s Supreme Committee.
ONA also reported that night restrictions will remain for about one week, starting Aug. 8, with unnecessary travel not allowed from 9p.m. until 5a.m.
The government committee likewise followed up on weather reports over the Arabian Sea which is expected to affect some provinces, the report added.
