- King Salman is recovering after undergoing successful surgery to have his gallbladder removed
RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received telephone calls from the King of Bahrain, the crown prince of Kuwait and the speaker of Iraq鈥檚 parliament checking on King Salman鈥檚 health.
The crown prince thanked Bahrain鈥檚 King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Kuwait鈥檚 Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Iraq鈥檚 Mohammed Al-Halbousi for their calls and concern for the king鈥檚 health.
King Salman underwent successful surgery to have his gallbladder removed on Thursday and is in hospital where he is recovering and receiving further treatment.
