JEDDAH: The secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) called on Myanmar’s government to comply with resolutions of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) and stop violations against the Muslim Rohingya minority.
Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen urged the international community to provide further support for legal efforts to seek justice for the Rohingya, and to intensify efforts to ensure their rights, security and safety, and the immediate cessation of all forms of violence.
