DUBAI: One of Dubai’s oldest and most revered hotels, the Habtoor Grand Resort, part of the Autograph Collection, is re-opening its doors to guests from May 21. After several weeks of closure due to the coronavirus, guests can now enjoy the hotel’s pristine private beaches.

The hotel, in accordance with UAE guidelines, can operate at 30 percent capacity. It currently has 104 resort rooms available for bookings.

“It’s very important for us that our guests and our staff are feeling safe,” Hayden Edgtton, General Manager of Habtoor Grand Resort, told Arab News. “We have disinfected and sanitized all of our rooms. Our rooms will also be sealed for every new guest to give them the comfort value that sanitization procedures have taken place for their arrival.”

Thorough hygiene standards have been implemented via enhanced technology to curb the spread of the virus. The hotel has also imposed new cleaning regimes consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention.

Known for its magnificent beachfront and outdoor restaurants, the Habtoor Grand Resort is also offering several alluring Staycation packages that include overnight stays at the hotel and daycation experiences with all-day access to the beach, food and beverage and resort rooms.

The Habtoor Grand Resort is one of the first hotels in Dubai to open its doors again to guests amidst the coronavirus as part of the Emirate’s first stage in its reopening plan.
