KSRelief medical aid arrives in Yemen

SEIYUN, Yemen: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) inaugurated on Wednesday in the Yemeni city of Seiyun the first batch of medical aid to combat coronavirus in various governorates in the country.

The batch, delivered to Yemen’s Health Ministry in Seiyun, included protective gear and tools, medical devices, laboratory supplies, medicines, intravenous catheters, masks and patient beds.

This aid comes under the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to stand with countries affected by the pandemic.

Meanwhile, KSRelief distributed 11,750 cartons of dates to families in need in the Yemeni governorates of Marib, Al-Bayda, Taiz and Jouf.

In Jordan, KSRelief distributed 3,880 food baskets to families in need, as part of a project to distribute 6,000 food baskets to Jordanian and Palestinian families.
