DUBAI: Egypt’s government has suspended activities in cinemas and theaters as part of the country’s efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus in the country, local press reported on Thursday.
“Certainly, this will cause huge losses, but the whole world is spending billions to confront the virus; it is an emergency that we hope will end soon,” Head of Actors Syndicate Ashraf Zaki said.
Meanwhile, Egypt has reported one death and 46 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infected cases to 256 including 28 recovered patients and seven deaths.
