Turki bin Naji Al-Ali is the Kingdom’s ambassador to Niger. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah.

He worked at the economic affairs department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during which time he participated in many regional and international conferences, seminars and summits about the economy and the environment.

He also participated in joint committees for bilateral economic cooperation between the Kingdom and other countries, as well as the 50th and 58th sessions of the UN Economic and Social Commission.

Al-Ali worked at the ministry’s consular affairs department and was director general of the department for nationals’ affairs. 

He was ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s ambassador to Myanmar from 2006 until 2012. He later became director general of diplomatic affairs at the ministry.

Al-Ali recently participated in the inauguration ceremony of an agriculture, water and environment exhibition in Niamey, which is the capital of Niger.

The ceremony was headed by Prime Minister Brigi Rafini in the presence of ministers and organizations involved with agriculture and the environment.

Last month Al-Ali attended the launch of a campaign, accredited by Niger’s government and its partners, to curb food shortage and face a deteriorating humanitarian situation.
