Mohammed Al-Mandiel is the director of knowledge and digital content at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Al-Mandiel was recently appointed president of the Saudi Hockey Federation.
Besides his current roles, Al-Mandiel has worked as a freelance event manager at Topex since 2016.
He received his bachelor’s degree in electronic telecommunication and internet engineering from the University of Bradford in the UK.
Al-Mandiel started his career in 2009 at the information technology (IT) production department of Alinma Bank.
Later, he shifted his career to the education sector. He moved to the King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) as a senior project coordinator.
Mawhiba provides skills training and various types of internships and scholarship opportunities to gifted students across the country, and he worked there between 2010 and 2013.
Al-Mandiel then moved to another state-owned company, Elm, which deals in training and services in IT, and where he worked across multiple areas, as a project controller, team leader, business developer, project manager, project and event manager, and senior project manager until 2019.
He then joined Riyadh Airports Co., a newly established organization to implement the country’s privatization program in the aviation sector, as a program manager.
