He played a role in the success of many festivals in the region and founded Al-Jouf Olive Festival, one of the most important agricultural and cultural festivals in the country.
Al-Ali worked for Jouf Agricultural Development Company for nine years between 2000 and 2009. During his tenure he helped to reduce production costs, increasing activities and expanding sales outlets.Â
He also worked as a reporter and editor at a number of media outlets.Â
Al-Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University.Â
Recently, Al-Ali revealed that the number of tour guides in Al-Jouf region had increased 89 percent by the fourth quarter of 2019. He also said that the first female tourist guide in the region was licensed this year.
Al-Ali said that more people are keen to apply for a tourist guide license. This rise in demand comes with an increase in the number of tourists in the area after initiating tourist visas.
The Al-Jouf region is a rich historical destination, which makes it one of the top tourist destinations in the Kingdom, he said.
