JEDDAH:ÌýThe president of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Abdul Hadi Al-Mansouri, is heading the Saudi delegation at the fifth meeting of the presidents and directors of the civil aviation authorities in the Middle East.
The three-day meeting, which is taking place in Kuwait City, will discuss efforts to protect the environment and participants will highlight new opportunities in the sector and ways to counter challenges for the Middle Eastern airlines.
Aviation chiefs will also address issues related to safety and study regional safety indicators.
Other issues on the agenda include technical cooperation and airport fees. They will also review strategy to enhance cooperation among MENA countries concerning the functions of the Incident Investigation Group.
