RYADH: The organizing committee of the Saudi Media Forum announced that more than 1,000 media professionals and experts from 32 countries will attend the event, which will be held from Dec. 2 to 3.
The president of the forum, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi, said that the large participation of different countries reflects the great interest of the media to follow everything that happens in the Kingdom. He added that the forum, which will be held under the umbrella of the Saudi Journalists Association, received many requests from international media outlets to participate.
Al-Harthi said that the event, which is being held in Riyadh for the first time, will discuss a number of important issues, including the future of the media industry, its role in shaping public opinion and its impact on society. The forum will shed light on the digital transformation in media institutions, the future of the television industry in the era of on-demand viewing and cross-border media campaigns.
