RIYADH: A delegation from the Saudi Shoura Council joined Bosnians in Sarajevo on Thursday to commemorate the anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre.
The delegation comprised Shoura Council member Abdullah Al-Harbi, Chairman of the Saudi-Bosnian Parliamentary Friendship Committee Saad Al-Horiki, and Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Hani bin Abdullah Mominah.
Al-Harbi said: “The Kingdom has always supported Bosnia and Herzegovina in all humanitarian situations. This highlights the unique fraternal relations between our two countries.”
He said that the participation of the Shoura Council delegation in this commemoration is a moral duty to which the Kingdom is committed, emphasizing that Ƶ stands by the thousands of victims of the massacre.
