Relief activities
On Tuesday, the KSRelief continued its relief activities in flood-hit parts of Yemen’s Al-Jawf governorate. The center distributed 1,900 food baskets among the displaced families. Around 11,448 people benefited from the aid packages.Â
In addition to the relief activities initiated in the wake of floods, the center is relentlessly working to provide assistance to the Yemeni people who have been affected by the war in the impoverished country.Â
During the recently concluded holy month of Ramadan, the center carried out 15 projects to hand out food baskets and iftar meals in 13 Muslim countries at a total cost of $14 million.
With the objective of ensuring that no child is denied happiness during the festive occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, KSRelief entered into an agreement to distribute Eid gifts to Yemeni children.
The initiative involved distributing toys, clothing and other items to 7,590 children in four Yemeni governorates: Aden, Hadramawt, Al-Mahrah and Marib.
